Congratulations to Emmanuel Threatt, a recipient of the May Music Everywhere CLT H.U.G. Grant 🤩 At @cm_clt this month, @cltiscreative recognized Emmanuel Threatt (@ohboyphresh) with a $250 H.U.G. (“Helpful Unfettered Gift”) micro-grant. A father to triplet toddlers and a music artist, Emmanuel Threatt has been working on a fun children’s project that both kids and adults can vibe to. Emmanuel is creating an educational children’s hip-hop album with fun, original music that kids and parents can enjoy together. The goal is to make learning engaging through upbeat, high-quality songs. Funding through the HUG grant will support production, distribution, and marketing. HUGs (Helpful Unfettered Gifts) are $250 strings-free microgrants awarded monthly to creative initiatives in Charlotte to help propel the project forward or remove a small obstacle to its overall success.
