Sarah Green (sarahgreenmusic) is a poet and professor who didn’t identify as an athlete until the HAUS became her home, and our providers became like family.
“I had a frozen shoulder and started physical therapy with Russ Linville (dr.linville.dpt) who was so impactful. As I was working on healing, Russ recommended I incorporate more overall exercise because of evidence that it could help. I fell in love with running, but immediately got overuse injuries, which led me to Sports PTs Quinn Garner (sctrainswithquinn) and Krystan Coyle (krystancoyledpt).
I soon started strength training with Jim Warmuth (runtrainthrive). Along the way, I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and received some discouraging warnings from non-TCO providers about running more than a 5K ever again. However, my team at the HAUS provided such good care and conveyed such belief in me that last fall, I completed my first 10-mile race!
