The repaired Incline Railway is set to reopen by July 14, according to officials. The railway, one of Chattanooga's most popular tourist attractions, has been closed since December, when a fire on Lookout Mountain severely damaged its tracks and cable system. Officials initially aimed to reopen by June 2, but weather and material deliveries delayed the repairs, officials said at recent meetings of the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority board. CARTA, the city's bus agency, also oversees the Incline. To learn more click the link in our bio.
