Her appointment follows a national search to succeed interim Chancellor Robert Dooley, who has led the school since Angle stepped down at the start of the year. Angle had served as chancellor for more than a decade. Under her leadership, Tennessee Tech also earned a perfect academic program quality score from the state's higher education commission -- a first for any university in the state in more than four decades, according to the UT System.
