🎉 For our final We Are BC Dining feature, please join us in congratulating Winifred “Una” O’Hanlon and Jeronimo Colon Cara on their well-earned retirements after 24 and 37 years of dedicated service in BC Dining! 🎉 Una worked at a sub shop across the street when a BC employee encouraged her to apply for a cashier position in 2001. Over the years, Una has worked as a cashier at three locations and enjoyed being part of a supportive community. Her favorite memories will always be meeting students on the first day of classes and ensuring they feel at home. She is always surprised to see her mothering nature come through to help students make the transition to college. Jeronimo worked at a local restaurant when the chef encouraged him to apply for a position as second cook for BC in 1988. Over the years, Jeronimo worked as second cook, first cook, and chef at three locations and loved being part of a team that felt like family.
