#Sonder10 – Growing Our Reach: 2018–2020 The backstory continues! In our search to make the greatest possible difference, we focused on places where the need was great and our connections were strong. This led us to respond to our neighbors in crisis, to invest in agriculture in Burkina Faso, and establish a new presence in Malawi. 🌱 In 2018, we launched the first phase of our Community Farm in Burkina Faso—an ambitious initiative to ensure food security and economic opportunity for a community of over 1,200 people. 💪 That same year, Hurricane Michael devastated the Florida Panhandle—just miles from our headquarters. We mobilized volunteers and raised over $600,000 to support 233 families through home repairs, tree removal, power restoration, and more. 🏃🏿‍♂️ In 2019, the 30A Half Marathon & 5K returned stronger than ever, raising more than $218,000 and bringing together nearly 1,500 runners and an epic BBQ Festival kick-off.
