During the COVID lockdowns, misoextra dove deep into music production, eventually developing the entire “Misoverse” lore, inspired in part by MF DOOM and the Manga character Doraemon. The alter-ego and tongue-in-cheek moniker gave her the confidence and space to explore all sides of her creative personality. The result is a music catalog that seamlessly shifts between Japanese and English lyrics while jumping around the genres of hyperpop, hip-hop, house and R&B. #AAPI #APIHM
