DISCUSSION: Florida State redshirt junior defensive back Earl Little Jr. is looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2024 campaign after the switch from cornerback to safety midway through the year. Little Jr. was someone that I was admittedly very high on last season when Florida State picked him up in the transfer portal from the Crimson Tide. However, he only recorded 15 tackles (one for loss) and one sack last year. Defensive coordinator Tony White referred to Little Jr. this offseason as “Him”. That is high praise from someone who just came into the coaching staff a few months ago, and he already views the talented defender as someone that is elite on defense.
