You'll get the chance to weigh in about SEPTA's proposal to cut service and raise fares. The Philadelphia transit agency is hosting public hearings on Monday and Tuesday at SEPTA's headquarters at 12th and Market Streets.
SEPTA is facing a $213 million deficit.
If it doesn't get help from the state, SEPTA says it would need to reduce service by 45% and raise fares by 21.5%. It would also include a hiring freeze and a possible 9 p.m. curfew on all rail services.
Experts warn these changes could harm the local economy.
