Today we give you the String shelf (’Stringhyllan’), a Swedish design classic that’s made its way into many homes – both in Sweden and abroad. 🏠   ✍️ 📐 Designed by spouses Nisse and Kajsa Strinning, the String shelf came to life through a competition organised by Swedish publishing house Bonnier in 1949.       Easy to assemble and expandable, the String bookshelf is timeless in its functionality.
