💡 The idea came to Victor Fredrikson, student at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, about a year ago. His father got tired of reminding him about the laundry and suggested Victor use his programming skills to create an app that tracks chores and eliminates the need for nagging.
In September this year, Accord was launched. It's an app designed to foster equality in housework. By tracking all the work done in a household and calculating how much each person contributes, the app turns chore management into a friendly competition. 🤹
To keep users engaged and encourage consistency, the app features a ‘streak’ function. A streak is achieved when someone is active in the app for several days in a row. After three days of continuous use, the person earns a reward – a discount on products or services offered by companies that partner with Accord. 🌟
