Ministry doesn’t always happen behind a pulpit. For Randy, it happens from a local spot in Marshall, NC. Randy began his journey in 1972 as a Salvation Army cadet, planning to dedicate his life to ministry and service, but God had a different plan. Instead of the traditional path, Randy chose to live out his mission of service from a local dive bar, "T-Birds", which he transformed into a family-friendly gathering spot. In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, Randy transformed T-Birds into a beacon of hope for his community. He welcomed Salvation Army volunteers there with open arms, offering them this spot to distribute hot meals to Helene survivors in the area.
