Last week we were contacted by our emergency vet partners about a momma corgi who had 2 stillborn puppies and then stopped laboring. She still had 4 puppies inside and the likelihood any would survive was diminishing by the minute. She had been rescued by a Good Samaritan who couldn't afford her care and wanted her to go to rescue. So we said yes. 2024 was a rough year for us financially. Inflation, our growing services, and an increasing overpopulation problem came together to provide a perfect storm. We were a little concerned about signing on for such a big surgery (with a sizable price tag), but luckily our friends and partners at 1510foundation made it all possible. They are sponsoring the care of momma Rosabella and her sole surviving puppy, Adeline. Foundations like theirs make it possible for organizations like ours to continue saying YES to those most in need. Our gratitude is endless. Rosabella and Adeline are now being spoiled and loved with an incredible foster family....
