While I don’t like to limit myself by saying that I only photograph a specific style like street or architecture, I do gravitate to take photos of scenes and things that look “timeless”. It brings me the most pleasure if I can take a photograph that could have seemingly been taken at any point in time. I use B&W more than anything else because I do have a penchant for printing in my college’s darkroom and I love having the ability of seeing the film process to the end. From shooting, to developing and to printing I love it all. This allows me full control of my photographs and I believe that it helps me produce even better work than if I would send my images to a film lab.
