#DwightDestinations: Grade 4 Visits the Capitol 🇺🇸 Our Grade 4 Lions embarked on their annual Washington D.C. journey, immersing themselves in our nation’s rich history. Throughout their educational experience, students explored iconic landmarks including the Washington and Lincoln monuments, gaining perspective on the foundations of American democracy. The trip featured enlightening visits to the Natural History, African American History & Culture, and Air & Space museums, where students expanded their understanding of science, culture, and innovation. Meaningful stops at the MLK and WWII memorials provided important historical context and opportunities for reflection. This educational experience offered our young scholars valuable insights beyond the classroom—connecting them to pivotal moments and figures in American history.
