Gold Award Girl Scout Highlight ⭐ Today we are proud to introduce Annelise Mages, one of our inspiring 2025 Gold Award Girl Scouts. Annelise recognized the ongoing stigma around student mental health and responded by creating "You Are Not Alone," a multifaceted mental health program at San Diego High School. Her project features an anonymous student art exhibit available both on campus and online, a mental health resource directory, and weekly self-expression workshops for students in grades 9 through 12. In collaboration with the SDHS Wellness Center, the Bring Change 2 Mind Club, and partners like UC San Diego, Annelise helped create safe, supportive spaces for students to reflect, express themselves, and access resources. The program is now sustained by school staff and continues to grow with increased student engagement.
