U.S. Sen. senatorbennet will seek the Colorado governor’s office in 2026 — joining an unsettled Democratic field and potentially opening up a coveted Senate seat in an increasingly blue state.⁠ ⁠ He made his formal announcement Friday morning at an event in Denver’s City Park.
