Announcing our third 2025 Steinberg Institute Champion! 🎉 🏆 We are celebrating Doug Bond (doug.bond007), the current president and CEO of Amity Foundation (amityfdn), an organization with a strong commitment to increasing public safety through re-entry programs after incarceration. Amity Foundation works to provide long-term services like stable housing, health care, and employment opportunities to break the cycle of recidivism, particularly in marginalized communities. Doug has been involved with Amity Foundation since 1983, when he was one of the first foster children to be reunited with his formerly incarcerated father. He uses his past lived experience to inform his organizational leadership and guide the Amity Foundation to success.
