Throwback to my first online enterprise. I founded FreeAsABird.org (FAAB??) long before reddit; I was in highschool and used it as a way to get experience building simple websites (for free) for non-profits. Entrepreneurs gotta entrepreneur. It was a huge ego boost because these adults didn't care that I was a kid -- only that I had valuable skills they didn't possess. I got my first clients from offering my services on nonprofit message boards 🤔 Don't judge my webdesign too harshly... It was 2000 and imagemaps were a thing. #ExperienceIsAGreatTeacher #TBT #FAAB
