Unit 3 Priestley Hall residents have faced a broken elevator since last week, and UC Berkeley stationed movers at Priestley to accommodate for move-out week. The elevator malfunction follows previous infrastructure issues in Unit 3 residence halls spring semester, and elevator reliability has been a recurring concern among residents. Some of the aging buildings’ utility issues were addressed in the fall semester, such as faucet issues, water heating and kitchenette construction in Norton and Spens-Black halls.
