Leonardo DiCaprio has announced Sitting Bull, a two-part documentary on the legendary Lakota leader, set to premiere on the history channel next month. 🍿💥
“Told through expert interviews, dramatic yet authentic scripted sequences, and supplemented by rich archival material, Sitting Bull details the seminal moments and key figures in Native American history, including the Washita Massacre, renowned warrior Crazy Horse, the Battle of Cedar Creek, and the Wounded Knee Massacre.” (history)
The documentary will star Michael Spears (michaelspears99) as Sitting Bull and Joel Oulette (joel.oulette) as Crazy Horse, with narration by Mo Brings Plenty (mobringsplenty).
The film is executive produced by Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way Productions, Dee Jay Two Bears, and Larry Pourier, in partnership with Crystal Echo Hawk and IllumiNative.
