“Care for your homies” isn’t just something we say — it’s something we live. As athletes, we’re built to push through — long road trips, tough losses, big moments. But what’s going on off the field often matters just as much, if not more. This Mental Health Awareness Month, I’m proudly supporting Mustache May — a movement that’s about more than growing facial hair. It’s about sparking conversations, spreading awareness, and showing up for each other in real authentic ways. Checking in doesn’t require much — a text, a quick call, a “you good?” in the dugout. Those little moments? They can go a long way. Even the strongest teammates have tough days. Sometimes, the ones who seem the most dialed in are carrying the heaviest weight. A small act of care can be the light someone didn’t know they needed. So, no matter how busy life gets — make the time. Check in. Show up. Care for your homies. #mustachemay #mentalhealthawarenessmonth
