Earlier this year, wildfires in Los Angeles caused widespread destruction, displacing families and damaging homes, schools, and businesses. In response, @ulilosangeles, @ucla.ziman.center, and the @luskcenter have released Project Recovery—a comprehensive roadmap to guide rebuilding efforts and strengthen the city’s long-term resilience.
Approximately 100 leading experts, including ULI members, specializing in land use, real estate, infrastructure, and economic development have volunteered their time and expertise to the report – offering best practices and actionable recommendations to not only accelerate the recovery process in LA but also serve as a blueprint to help cities navigate recovery when impacted by climate-related disasters. This effort was made possible by the generous contributions of ULI members through the ULI Foundation.
