6 years ago today. iPhone memories surprised me with this video this morning , reminding me where we were 6 years ago. And now 6 years later I’m by my husband’s side as he recovers from back surgery. Life is such a journey, it’s a mix of ups & downs and highs & lows , it was never meant to be a straight line. I’ve learned so much through this journey, a life changing injury that 6 years later I’m still recovering from one baby step at a time. And, I’m so grateful we have each other during these times. By the way, being competitive snowboarders and Daniel a skateboarder we both endured overuse injuries although his back injury came on slow and my leg injury was sudden & traumatic. What I know for sure is that whatever you are going through, you are more resilient together. We really do need each other.
