My husband had 2 back to back days of back surgeries this week. He had a fusion on L4/5 , L5/ S1 with surgery anterior on day 1 & posterior on day 2. I’m so grateful I’ve been able to be there for him like he has been there for me. Over the last 6 years after severely injuring my leg my husband stepped in as my greatest support. And although I wish he wasn’t going through this back injury and surgery I’m so happy I get the opportunity to step in & support him. Relationships deepen during the hard times. Not just marriage but all relationships. Love goes both ways, want love -> give love , want support -> give support. ❤️ Just a thought as I’m reminded in this time how support goes both ways and how our resilience grows when we have one another.
