We had an incredible celebration of culture, community, and connection during Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month at St. Andrew’s! We were honored to welcome a wonderful group of parents and teachers who enriched our students' learning by sharing their personal stories, cultural traditions, and experiences—from the vibrant celebrations of Hindu festivals like Raksha Bandhan and Navaratri, to the rich heritage of Filipino, Vietnamese, Japanese, Indian, and Korean cultures. Students also explored the teachings of Buddhism and learned about the diverse and flavorful Asian food scene right here in Austin! Parents like Stephanie S. & Ruchit S., Kathy B., Jessie G., Ali K., Hao S., Hema M., and Nanami R. brought books, stories, and personal experiences into chapel.
