I cry every time I edit a wedding video. (Granted if you know me, you know it’s pretty easy to see me cry) but every time I edit, I see behind all of the technical elements that was filtering through my mind day-of and can focus solely on you, your family and your story. I can see the moment when the groom has just forgotten that a camera is close by and is smiling so fully and deeply at his bride just before he leans in to kiss her temple. There’s a moment where the mom has to bring out the Kleenex she’s stuffed in her purse to wipe her eyes. There’s the ring bearer who can’t seem to sit still and gives everyone reason to suspect that his mission is to find a way to stain his outfit before getting to the aisle.
And then there’s the deep inhale from the dad who’s preparing to turn around to see his daughter as a bride.
