WHY I DANCE — Ella Labaj 🎤🎶 Ella is a senior theatre performance major who, if you have seen any Dance and Physical Theatre Showcase, you have likely seen her or her choreography on the stage! Read below to hear why dance is the ultimate form of expression for Ella: “I started dancing when I was 4 and haven’t stopped since! Dance is important to me because it is the one thing that listens to me 100%. My body connects with my mind and expresses what I feel on a daily basis. It clears my head and makes me feel important which I believe is a beautiful relationship. My favorite aspect of the dance program here at LSU is the ability to work with the community around me and create pieces of art that inspire others but also inspire me to keep creating.
