History Monday! In this photo from ca. 1890, you can see the Fine Arts Building peeking out next to the Auditorium Building. At this time, it was the Studebaker Carriage Company's Chicago assembly and showroom, where they constructed the carriages on the upper floors and displayed them in the ground floor showroom.
