Several months after the inaugural Furnace Fest, I entered Tooth & Nail’s offices in a quaint suburb of dreary Seattle. Standing in a makeshift warehouse room surrounded by floor-to-ceiling boxes of T&N/SolidState CDs, I caught my first glimpse of the Liberate Te Ex Inferis album cover. I was instantly floored and overwhelmed by the cover art itself and the sheer weight of what I somehow knew that record would contain. It was more than just an album for me—a defining moment, a raw and unexpected force that would help define the rest of my life.  Now, 20 years later, it’s with the greatest pleasure that we announce a special anniversary set for Liberate at FF2025.
