We had the opportunity to visit @beautystat’s lab to help create a baby batch of their new Vitamin C Lip Serum (promise this batch will never see the public, beauty queens—personal use only! 😅) @Ron Chemist and @Marina Turso the lab director, guided us through the process. I always have so much fun stepping into a lab setting and playing with raw materials. Collaborating with cosmetic chemists is one of my favorite parts of the job—and a big reason I became a beauty product developer all those years ago! This lip serum is more than just a pretty tube. She’s formulated with L-ascorbic acid (pure vitamin C) to brighten and even out lip tone, peptides to support collagen for a plumper look, and hyaluronic acid to keep lips hydrated and smooth, my personal favorite feature!
