🥦🍗 Think nutrition needs to be complicated? Think again.
On the hubermanlab podcast, we got into the weeds on nutrition (and why the conversation has gotten so noisy and off track).
Here’s my take: If we’re going to talk about performance, we have to talk about body composition, fueling, and recovery.
But we’ve made nutrition way more complicated than it needs to be.
In our house, we focus on:
✔️ 0.8–1g of protein per pound of bodyweight
✔️ Prioritizing all types of lean protein
✔️ 800g of fruits & veggies per day (shout out optimizemenutrition)
✔️ And most importantly—eating together at the table.
Because the real unit of change isn’t an app. It’s the household.
That’s how we build durable humans. One meal, one rep, one family at a time.
