#2025SeniorProfile 🎓🏠 Unapologetic Excellence: Devontae Patterson ’25⁠ ⁠ Devontae Patterson ’25 is a communication and theatre & performance major from Houston, Texas.⁠ ⁠ As a distinguished member of both the Morehouse College Theatre Ensemble and the Morehouse College Student Ambassadors, Devontae has made his mark on campus through service, creativity, and leadership. His commitment to excellence has earned him the Martin L. King Jr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship, multiple appearances on the Dean’s List, Honor Roll recognition, and the honor of graduating cum laude.⁠ ⁠ But his path wasn’t without challenges. Starting college during the height of COVID-19 presented intense isolation. Devontae battled through social anxiety and the pressure to conform.
