BOWING OUT TOGETHER: Performing arts seniors hug goodbye at McCallum’s end-of-year senior showcase, their last performance together at McCallum, on May 10 in the Fine Arts Building Theater. After years of collaborating, the seniors take their final bow of high school.
“Time will go by quicker than you think,” senior Ivy Speight said. “Don’t leave high school wishing you did more. Audition for that show, join that club, do things outside of school. Find your passion.”
Senior Sasha Grapko performed a powerful and lyrical piece that elicited thunderous applause from the FABT audience.
“I’m going to miss all of the people I have gotten to perform with at McCallum,” Grapko says. “I feel like
I have gotten close and spent a lot of hours with a lot of people, and it’s kind of hard to process leaving them.”
