This week we celebrated National Trauma Survivors Day with 20+ incredible survivors and their families 💪 Emotions ran high as we reunited these brave individuals with the healthcare heroes who helped save their lives. To see these survivors of severe trauma talk, walk, and share their remarkable recovery journeys was truly inspiring. 🩸 Our on-site blood drive highlighted how donated blood saves lives every day - thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves! We passed our goal! 🌟 Special shoutout to Stephanie Kennedy, RN, who received a well-deserved surprise recognition for her incredible dedication as a trauma care leader at Westchester Medical Center! 🌟 As part of the Trauma Survivors Network, WMCHealth connects survivors with peers who understand their unique journey, creating lasting support systems.
