🗣 “Football has completely shaped who I am. As a mum, teacher, friend, and as a daughter. I use the skills I learned in my football career every day. As a football player you face a lot of setbacks, but in doing so I’ve become mentally strong with a determination to succeed and be a good person. Football taught me how to be a team player and work with many different personalities, and how to get the best out of different people which is so important in my daily jobs as a teacher and a pundit. Working together with 6 others in a PE Department means we need to work together to give our pupils the best education we can and make sure they come to a safe and nurturing environment. We can’t offer them this unless we are all working together. Being involved in football is hugely beneficial to girls. Friendships made on the football field in my experience are the greatest. My friends from football are the best friends I could ever have made, and still to this day have a huge impact on my life...
