They said you shouldn’t swim in the water here 🤭🐊 But I took a break from hiking to get me some beach time and couldn’t not get in the ocean☀️ The crocodile risk is SUPER high in Far North Queensland, and the farther north you go, the greater the advice is to avoid getting in…🐊 At each beach there is a sign which indicates the croc risk, and it is said that if in doubt, DONT’T SWIM! In SOME places, they have nets in the water to keep you safe, such as where I swam here, which was Port Douglas. I really do think the beaches in Australia are some of the best in the world…but they do come with great risk sometimes. #australia #travel #beachviews #FNQ #traveltheworld
