Come hike to a glacier with me 🥾 This spectacular backcountry camping trip was spent at Wedgemount Lake, located in British Columbia, Canada. Thanks to my lovely friend morganinthemountains for lending my best and I all the camping gear to make this trip of dreams come true. This was my first ever backcountry hike where I camped to see the sunset and sunrise and I think nature blessed me on this one. This place is just one big playground with so much exploring to be done. The fact we were able to hike up to the glacier was unreal. I’m so proud of my ability to route-find without using a map, just based on the experiences I’ve had and the knowledge of what I’m capable of achieving with my four limbs! The hike up is around 7km and 1200m elevation gain, so is a pretty challenging hike, especially with large overnight bags.
