The beauty of track and field is, in most cases, things are cut and dried. There's little debate. You ran so fast, jumped so high or so long, and threw so far. But sometimes there are grey areas. Such was the case in determining this year's Westchester/Putnam Girls Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year. There were multiple deserving candidates and, from them, two stood out. Both ran times that placed them second all-time in Section 1. But only one is being given the honor.
