Canisius posted a near-flawless day at the West Side Rowing Club’s Fontana All-High Regatta, winning nine of 10 events at the annual Memorial Day event. Fresh from winning scholastic national championships two days earlier in New Jersey, the Crusaders posted victories in the Pair, the Novice Eight, the Junior Eight, the Second Varsity Four, the Varsity Four, the Lightweight Four, the Junior Four, and the First and Second Varsity Eights. Across all events, the average margin of victory was 21 seconds. Putting an exclamation mark on the day was the almost-all senior Eight, comprised of coxswain Noah Rajecki, Liam Feeney, Isaiah Aljuwani, Meer Renschler Pandey, Kohler Stewart, Matt Zakrzewski, Trevor Wierzbowski, Thomas Skowron and junior Ethan Pirigyi.
