KENNEDI MCCLAIN OF SOUTHERN UTAH MPSF SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK Southern Utah sophomore Kennedi McClain (South Jordan, UT) had the best meet of her career on the road at Utah State (Feb. 2). McClain won two titles and set career-highs in both. She scored a 9.875 on the vault, helping the Thunderbirds to a season-high 49.100. McClain then scored a 9.950 on beam, tying her for the best score in MPSF history and the second-best in program history. The beam squad total of 49.375 is the new MPSF record, while the team meet total 196.800 is the second-highest in MPSF history. This is McClain’s first career MPSF award.
