Brandon Thomas Crowley ’08, Ph.D., an esteemed scholar, humanitarian, and pastor of the Historic Myrtle Baptist Church in Newton, Massachusetts — one of the nation’s oldest open and affirming Black Baptist congregations, founded by formerly enslaved Africans during Reconstruction.
