I’m glad to know my work is part of something that will help to represent our community to the rest of the world. It’s moments like this that help to validate all the time, risk and work I’ve invested over the years to get here. I still have lots of work to do, but it’s rewarding knowing that the ball is rolling and my efforts are not in vain. What I’ve learnt so far along the way is that through building healthy relationships and collaborations, great opportunities are bound to present themselves.
