Big news! Basketball Victoria (BV) just received a $750,000 Play Our Way grant to get more women and girls on court under Stream 2 of the Australian Government’s $200 million Play Our Way Program. This funding will support BV to deliver: • Free basketball clinics for primary school girls • Leadership programs for future female basketball stars • More resources for local associations • Wheelchair basketball roadshows across regional Victoria Basketball is already the fastest-growing team sport in Victoria, and this investment will help break down barriers that have kept women and girls from fully participating!
