The “Indigenous Met Gala” is back. ⭐ This fall, the 2nd Annual Indigenous Fashion Collective Gala (indigifashion) returns to Los Angeles on October 11, 2025, hosted at the iconic Autry Museum of the American West (theautry). This year’s theme: “Matriarchs of the Future: Sovereign Style.” Returning as co-chairs are Taboo (taboo) and Quannah Chasinghorse (quannah.rose) — two of the most powerful forces continuing to reshape visibility for Indigenous peoples in global media. Last year’s event featured the stars of #TurtleIsland and spotlighted some of the brightest designers, including Tierra Alysia (tierraalysia), Jason Baerg (jasonbaerg), and Patricia Michaels (patriciamichaels), who also received the indigifashion Designer of the Year award. Members of the indigifashion collective (designers, models, artists, and more) will be the first to receive updates on this year’s gala, including when award nominations open.
