Finding balance is a journey. Some days are filled with movement, others call for stillness. I’ve learned that both are necessary. In the midst of work, training, and everything in between, I try to carve out space, to breathe, to move with intention, and to simply be. Slowing down doesn’t mean falling behind. It means honoring where you are, and giving yourself what you need. This is very hard for me to do, but it is a work in progress for me. Recovery is just as important as the work itself.
