So many mixed messages about what strength should look like. But when you look at Jesus, you see something different. He was hurt, rejected, betrayed, and still, He stayed kind, steady, full of love. That’s real strength. If you’re raising boys, your role isn’t to make them tougher, it’s to help them be whole. Teach them how to name what they feel, how to sit with it, talk through it, and bring it to God. Jesus wept (John 11:35). He felt deeply. And that wasn’t weakness, it was love in action.
