Central Elementary and Northridge Middle schools have been named 2025 National Schools of Character, Tuscaloosa City Schools announced Thursday. This recognition honors schools with exceptional character development commitment, creating school cultures that inspire academic excellence and ethical growth. This year, only 73 schools across the United States received the honor; both schools in the system, along with Rock Quarry Elementary School, were named 2025 State Schools of Character earlier this year.
