From GF Strong to Australia ! Team BC’s William McCreight (billmccreight ) is making his Team Canada debut with wcrugbycanada at this week’s World Wheelchair Rugby Challenge in Australia! Will’s had a long journey in the sport over the past 8 years and we’re so proud of all his progress. Will was first introduced to Wheelchair Rugby in rehab where he attended our Canada Cup International Wheelchair Rugby Tournament as a spectator. After gaining strength and adjusted to a new way of life, Will joined the Okanagan Rattlers Wheelchair Rugby Club and worked his way through the provincial pathway where he played a crucial role on our 2022 Zbieranowski Cup winning team as a Division 2 All-star before working his way onto Team BC in Division 1. Now he’s getting his first chance to compete for Canada.
