This Memorial Day, we remember more than the names on headstones or the flags placed beside them — we reflect on the choice each of those individuals made to serve something bigger than themselves. In honoring their sacrifice, we also take on a responsibility: to keep their memory alive not just in ceremony, but in how we show up for our country and each other.
